Global music icon Billy Ocean has today announced a string of headline dates for summer 2026, where he’ll be joined by very special guest Marti Pellow.
The chart-topping legend behind classic hits as Caribbean Queen (No More Love On The Run), and When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Get Going and Red Light Spells Danger – will kick off the summer at Leigh Sports Village on Friday May 29 before headlining a sting of dates across the UK.
Billy will be joined by very special guest Marti Pellow, the unmistakable voice of Wet Wet Wet and solo star in his own right.

Lottery Winners Are Playing An Actual Stadium

This landmark event marks a full-circle moment for the unstoppable Leigh band, who over the past three years have transformed from cult heroes into chart-topping national treasures.
Lottery Winners are pulling out all the stops for what promises to be an unforgettable night. They’ll be joined on stage by a stellar line up of special guests they’ve previously collaborated with, and who have appeared on their albums, including Frank Turner, and Reverend & The Makers, with further to be announced.
Support will come from close friends of the band Scouting for Girls, the chart-topping London trio best known for infectious hits like She’s So Lovely, Heartbeat, and This Ain’t a Love Song. They’ll be joined by local favourites The Lilacs, and a DJ set from Katie Owen to round off the night.

Past Concerts
We’re proud to have hosted two successful concerts here, one in 2014 and the other in 2018, which were major successes for both Leigh Sports Village and our local community.
On Saturday 21st June 2014, Sir Elton John kicked off his UK leg of a year long tour in front of 17,000 fans at our open-air stadium in his Yellow Brick Road Tour. This was to mark the 40th anniversary of his album, ‘Goodbye yellow brick road’ which started here in Leigh all those years ago. This was then followed with an amazing concert four years later, on Saturday 16th June 2018 by international superstar Lionel Richie, as part of his summer tour which put our town on the map once again.
